Ella Bats is a photographer, but she could just as easily be a painter. She builds her images in layers, using superimposition, blending and blurring. These deliberate devices give her photographs the power to surprise us, while at times recalling the work of Gerhard Richter or Mark Rothko.

Details

This print is part of a limited edition of 30, in keeping with its status as a work of art. It comes with a signed certificate of authenticity.

Each print is made to order once your order has been confirmed.

Printing Technique

Fine art pigment inkjet print on Hahnemühle Photo Rag Baryta 315 gsm paper. This method delivers exceptionally precise detail, deep blacks and excellent longevity.

SIZES & FRAMING

The dimensions shown refer to the paper size, including white margins, so the image itself is slightly smaller. Framing is optional for these sizes. Unframed prints are designed to fit standard ready-made frames easily.

From 60 × 90 cm upwards, prints are full-bleed, with no white border, and sold framed. For the three largest sizes, dimensions are approximate and may vary slightly depending on the image's aspect ratio.

What does a limited edition of 30 copies mean?

This means that each image will be printed a maximum of 30 times, across all formats. In other words, there will only be 30 prints of each photograph: it's an exclusive item. The limit of 30 is established by law in France – beyond that, it's no longer considered a fine art print.

Are the works authenticated?

Yes: each work is accompanied by a digital certificate of authenticity, signed by the photographer, which contains its edition number.

Are the prints durable over time?

Yes. Sunday Paris prints are produced using Fine Art inkjet printing, with pigment inks and archival-quality paper. Under proper storage conditions (protected from humidity and direct sunlight, and ideally framed under glass), they offer excellent stability and can last for decades without significant deterioration. To preserve your prints, alternate periods of hanging and hanging them so they are not constantly exposed to light.

Are the prints sold framed?

Up to and including the 50x70 cm format, framing is an optional extra: you can purchase the print alone or framed. Sunday Paris selects the framing option in collaboration with the photographer to best suit each photograph's aesthetic. From the 60x80 cm format upwards, all prints are sold framed.
