Are the prints original works?
Are the prints original works?
Yes: all the photographs offered by Sunday Paris are original works produced and signed by photographers, authenticated by a certificate, numbered, and printed to order in a specialized laboratory. They are works of art.
What does a limited edition of 30 copies mean?
What does a limited edition of 30 copies mean?
This means that each image will be printed a maximum of 30 times, across all formats. In other words, there will only be 30 prints of each photograph: it's an exclusive item. The limit of 30 is established by law in France – beyond that, it's no longer considered a fine art print.
Are the works numbered and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity?
Are the works numbered and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity?
Yes: each work is accompanied by a digital certificate, signed by the photographer, which contains its edition number.
Are the prints signed by the artist?
Are the prints signed by the artist?
The print itself is not signed, only the certificate is. This is a common practice.
What formats are available?
What formats are available?
Several formats are available. The formats indicated on the product pages correspond to the print size including margins: it is the size of the paper or frame. The image window size is smaller if the print has white margins (in most cases). These margins facilitate framing.
All formats offered for each image are chosen by the photographers.
Printing & Framing
What printing technique do you use?
What printing technique do you use?
We have chosen pigment inkjet printing, which ensures optimal quality and longevity. These special inks give the print exceptional detail and precision. These prints are produced by a laboratory specializing in fine art printing.
What type of paper are the works printed on?
What type of paper are the works printed on?
We have selected a high-quality paper, Hahnemühle Photo Rag Baryta 315 g. It is a thick, smooth paper with a fairly warm white, which gives a very nice contrast to the images.
Are the prints durable over time?
Are the prints durable over time?
Yes. Sunday Paris prints are produced using Fine Art inkjet printing, with pigment inks and archival-quality paper. Under proper storage conditions (protected from humidity and direct sunlight, and ideally framed under glass), they offer excellent stability and can last for decades without significant deterioration. To preserve your prints, alternate periods of hanging and storage so they are not constantly exposed to light.
Are the prints sold framed?
Are the prints sold framed?
For prints smaller than 60x90cm, framing is optional: you can purchase the print alone or framed. Prints 60x90cm and larger are sold framed (the price shown includes framing).
The framing is chosen by Sunday Paris in collaboration with the photographer, to be the most aesthetically suitable for the photograph.

Prints are shipped flat, and are always packaged in an acid-free paper sleeve. Framed prints are wrapped in foam. All boxes are reinforced. This professional packaging minimizes the risk of damage.
What should I do if my printout arrives damaged?
What should I do if my printout arrives damaged?
The artworks are carefully packaged and shipped under conditions designed to ensure their protection during transport. It is the customer's responsibility to check the condition of the package and the artwork upon receipt.
In the event of a damaged package or artwork upon delivery, the customer must contact Sunday Paris within 48 hours of receipt, providing supporting evidence, including:
- photographs of the outer package,
- of the inner packaging,
- of the artwork before any manipulation,
- as well as detailed photographs of the damage observed.
These elements should establish that the damage predates receipt and is reasonably attributable to transport.
If this procedure is not followed, or when the damage observed cannot be attributed to transport (absence of damage to the packaging, inconsistency between the damage and the transport conditions, handling after delivery), no claim will be accepted.
Differences in rendering due to screen display, color perception, personal tastes or aesthetic appreciation do not constitute a defect or damage entitling the customer to a refund.
In the event of damage recognized as attributable to transport, Sunday Paris reserves the right, depending on the circumstances, to offer a replacement of the artwork, where possible, without this constituting an automatic obligation to reimburse.

A refund may be considered only in the following cases:

Differences in rendering due to screen display, normal printing variations or personal aesthetic appreciation do not constitute grounds for a refund.
Depending on the situation, Sunday Paris may offer a replacement of the artwork when possible, without this implying an automatic refund.
