Cloé Harent

Cloé Harent is a photographer deeply connected to the earth and the living world. From 2018 to 2023, she created her first series, Le Lien de la Terre, dedicated to a young generation seeking food self-sufficiency through farming practices, which she is finalizing as part of the VU' agency's Mentorship program. In 2024, during her residency at the Planches Contact festival, she created Bruit Rose, a project dedicated to the biodiversity of the Normandy intertidal zone, for which she won the Young Talents Award. Thanks to this award, she secured a new residency in 2025 and created the series In Memoriam Terrae for the InCadaquès festival, this time on the mineral memory of the protected natural park of Cap de Creus, in Spain.

A photographer of the land, Cloé Harent explores the beauty of plants and the aquatic realm. In close-up or all-over, her photos of algae, grasses and rocks are fascinating natural tableaux, evoking a wild and ancestral beauty.
