Choosing the right size
The dimensions listed on our product pages refer to the paper size, including white borders, or to the frame dimensions when framing is offered. A 30×40 cm print fits effortlessly into almost any space. The 40×50 cm is a timeless classic, while the 50×70 cm begins to make more of an impact on the wall. From 60×90 cm, a photograph becomes a true statement piece. The 80×120 cm and 100×150 cm formats are designed for larger spaces.
The unframed print
Your photograph is printed on baryta paper and delivered flat in a protective sleeve. This is the ideal option if you prefer to choose your own frame, have your print professionally framed, or use a ready-made frame thanks to its standard dimensions.
Most sizes feature white borders around the image. These make framing easier, protect the photograph and contribute to the overall balance of the print. The image itself is therefore slightly smaller than the stated dimensions. The sizes available for each photograph are selected by the photographer.
Framing with glass and mount
For small and medium-sized prints, we offer classic framing with a slim black or white aluminium frame. A white, subtly bevelled mount creates space between the print and the glass, beautifully enhancing the image.
Floating frames for large prints
From 60×90 cm upwards, prints are presented edge-to-edge, without borders or mounts, and are always framed. The print is mounted onto a rigid backing and placed inside a slightly recessed wooden frame, creating the distinctive floating effect of a shadow gap frame. With no glass or reflections, the image takes centre stage.
Visualise Before You Buy
Cut a piece of newspaper to the dimensions you're considering and tape it to your wall. It's the simplest way to see whether the size works in your space. And if you're unsure, 40×50 cm is always a safe choice.
All That's Left Is to Hang It Up
All our frames come with a hanging system on the back and are carefully protected for shipping. Please allow approximately 10 to 15 working days between placing your order and receiving your artwork.
