Nicola Baldazzi

Born in Ravenna in 1985, Nicola Baldazzi is an Italian photographer trained by Guido Guidi. His work has been featured in numerous exhibitions in Italy and internationally, including Otto volte due (Large Glass Gallery, 2022), Eyes on Tomorrow – Young Italian Photography in the World (Addis Ababa, 2022) and Looking On – Perspectives and Outlooks on New Italian Photography (MAR Museum, Ravenna, 2019).

In collaboration with Veronica Lanconelli, he published Piccolo prontuario di fotografia segnaletica (2013) and He Didn't Believe Me (2018) published by Osservatorio Fotografico. Since 2023, they have co-directed the educational program Scuola Elementare di Fotografia.

Following in the footsteps of great Italian photographers Guido Guidi and Luigi Ghirri, Nicola Baldazzi represents the new generation of Emilia-Romagna photography: meticulously composed landscapes, a sense of purity, subtle humor, and that distinctive light... The other side of postcard Italy. A must-see for connoisseurs.
